The Best Smart Displays (2018): Google Home Hub, Amazon Echo View, JBL, Lenovo


There are a growing number of smart displays with Google Home, and finally Google is selling one of its own. We haven’t reviewed it yet, but the Google Home Hub has an unobtrusive design like the original Home speaker, and a 7-inch screen, making it more compact than many competitors. It also doesn’t have a camera. It can do voice calls, but Google opted out of the growing concerns over the amount of cameras in our lives. Instead, Google hopes you’ll enjoy how it uses its sensors to scan the color and brightness of the room so it can display photos that look more like they’re on paper.
