Greenbelt City police are investigating a weird squatting incident. Two roommates returned to their Maryland residence after a weeklong trip, to seek out almost all of their belongings gone and two strangers sleeping in one among their beds!
The residents reported to police that after coming into the residence, they discovered two suspects, a person and a lady sleeping in one of many beds. The suspects, instructed the residents they took all their property, after which reportedly grew to become aggressive with the victims, tackling one earlier than finally fleeing the scene.
“He tackles me, and I’m like ‘sir this is my home you not gone let me leave?’ He’s like, ‘no I’m just saying you not gone call the police. I’m going to give you your apartment you just not gone call the police.’”
Greenbelt City Police say they’re conscious of this and have officers actively patrolling the realm.
“I just couldn’t believe this was happening to me, I see this on TV,” one sufferer defined to Fox 5. “They really took over my apartment, and I was just trying to remain calm. But at the same time, I just couldn’t believe this was happening to me. I come home and literally, two people are in my bed relaxing.”
