PUBG MOBILE has been invaded by the undead citizens of Resident Evil 2‘s Racoon City, and we’ve got an exclusive video that showcases the game’s new zombie mode and even offers some tips on how to survive the zombie onslaught.
In case you didn’t hear, Capcom has partnered with the PUBG MOBILE team to deliver a new PUBG MOBILE mode called Survive till Dawn. As you may have gathered from the name, this is a horde-style mode that sees you and 59 other PUBG MOBILE players do battle against various undead creatures (and each other) during a 30-minute round that spans three days and two nights. At first, during the day, you’ll be battling some more aggressive waves of zombies and gathering supplies. However, as day turns to dusk, you’ll have to battle even more aggressive zombies and contend with diminished visibility.
It’s at night, though, that things become truly terrifying. Not only is it much more difficult to spot all of the zombies around you at night, but characters like Tyrant and the Stage 1 G monster will randomly spawn during this time. Those of you played the exceptional Resident Evil 2 remake know just how dangerous these monsters can be. Now imagine what kind of havoc they can cause in the PUBG MOBILE environment.
It won’t be easy, but we’re here to help those brave enough to survive until dawn by sharing this exclusive video from the PUBG MOBILE Community Team that reveals five tips designed to help you survive. From teaching you about some of the new weapons featured in this mode (including combat knives and flamethrowers) to teaching you about the value of silence, these tips might help you overcome some long odds.
Included with the release of the Survive till Dawn mode are some new characters skins based on Leon and Claire as well as some Ada and Marvin costumes. It’s all part of a partnership that the PUBG MOBILE team state “offers the very best of our two game platforms” and takes full advantage of the terrors of the “iconic” Resident Evil franchise.
The Survive til Dawn mode is available now for PUBG MOBILE. Those brave enough to face the Tyrant again can download PUBG MOBILE for free for Android and iOS devices.
