According to information (and images) obtained by The Next Web, Instagram is testing the ability to share content from other accounts on its pages. Judging by the screens shared by the publication, this feature will be entitled to its own button (next to the ability to share one image / video per message) and can have a major impact on the platform. Not only in the ‘feed’ of publications but also in the users’ own pages, being possible to put them much more similar to those of Twitter.
It seems to be still on the table the possibility of introducing research by GIFs and even publishing this type of content in Stories and in conventional publications. For this, it seems that the social network will resort to Giphy, the platform that hosts and allows researching millions of GIFs.
None of this is confirmed to arrive at the final version of Instagram, since at the moment they are only tests intended to try to understand if they contribute positively to the users experience.
