Rockstar Games announced today that Gun Rush is now available in Red Dead Online, along with a number of other updates.
The new Gun Rush mode in Red Dead Online tasks players with finding ammo and weapons, all while the play area shrinks and the last person standing is crowned the winner. This mode has support for up to 32 players, and can be played in both Free-for-all and Team variations.
Rockstar Games also announced that a number of Daily Challenges, from evading the law to sharpshooting, will be rolled out soon.
In addition, players will get a bounty when they commit crimes, and there will be an incentive to pay these bounties off within a set period of time. Those that wait too long will have to deal with bounty hunters that hail from each of the states.
Tweaks to the Parley system have also been made, making it easier to trigger. This, in turn, will allow players to avoid aggressive players more quickly and can also trigger Feuds, Posse Feuds and Leader Feuds with less hassle.
Finally player location “blips” will soon appear only across short distances. This will reduce the range players are visible to others, thereby lowering the likelihood of players being by others across large areas.
Future updates to Red Dead Online include all-new missions, a wide range of Dynamic Events, new competitive modes, new clothing, and new weapons.
